As we recently reported here, Bong Joon Ho made Hollywood history at this year's Oscars when his film Parasite became the first foreign language film to ever win the oscar for best picture. Parasite also took home awards for Best Original Screenplay and best International film. Bong snagged the award for best director. In the wake of that success, it seems that everyone is wondering what he has planned next.
It looks like the long awaited Snowpiercer TV series may finally come to fruition. In addition HBO is planning a series based on Parasite. And Bong has two movies in the works.
Fansided is reporting that he is working on a Korean language film that will be horror with action elements. Not much is known about the plot.
At the same time he's planning an English language film based on recent true events. The only other details available are that it will take place in the United States and the U.K.
