Buck Henry has died. Henry wrote The Graduate. He co-created Get Smart. He appeared on Saturday Night Live many times. He was a hugely talented writer with a biting, sardonic wit. Perhaps the most memorable of his acting roles, in my thinking, was his appearance as himself in Robert Altman's The Player, in which he lampooned his own image deliciously.
He will be missed.
